Welcome to Dr. Dog Animal Shelter
We are a non-profit Dog Rescue Association called Dr. Dog, created with the aim of helping abandoned and/or abused dogs and raising awareness in Paraguayan society.
Hundreds of cases of puppies in street situations, injured, abandoned, mistreated, mutilated and even killed, are reported daily.
Our objective as a Temporary Shelter for dogs is to rescue them from the streets, treat them with medicine, give them food and shelter until their complete recovery and then re-integrate them into society thanks to responsible and committed families.
Currently the Dr. Dog Shelter has 23 puppies of both genders, which are ready to be adopted!
- Proper care and non-abandonment of pets.
- Sterilization as the sole means of population control.
- Adoption rather than purchase of animals.
- The rejection of all forms of sacrifice or euthanasia.

The only way in which we can make this mission possible is with the help of each citizen who is willing to collaborate in this noble cause, since the Dr. Dog Shelter is not self-sustaining. All rescues and treatments are carried out thanks to godfathers, godmothers and donors in general.

Uno de los factores que contribuyen a los accidentes de tráfico en las calles son los animales, pues cruzan las calles con absoluta desorientación y sin medir los peligros que esto conlleva.
By rescuing dogs from the streets, care is also offered to motorists, pedestrians, company and business owners who have a large number of dogs on their sidewalks waiting for the kindness of citizens.
We also seek to provide a clean image of our cities, free of stray dogs.
Dogs that have been abandoned and mistreated have a special characteristic, they recognize this help and compensate their adoptions with the utmost love, affection and loyalty to their new owners.
